I was super excited to launch it. Then I sat and waited for the enquiries to roll in. And waited. A classic \u2018build it and they will come\u2019 mentality.<\/p>\n<p>In the early days I had heard about the term SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) but didn\u2019t really know what it was about, why I should have it or how it works.<\/p>\n<p>What I know now is that there was no point having poured my heart and soul into creating beautiful content and been brave enough to press publish, when the website wasn\u2019t designed in a way that would be found by the search engines \u2013 such as Google, Bing etc.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>I am often asked, \u201cWhat will SEO do for my coaching business?\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Well, most people start off by writing content with only their audience in mind, but the truth is your content has two audiences.<\/p>\n<p>1) The human who reads it, they want it to be engaging and interesting.<br \/>\n2) The robot, who needs to know what it\u2019s about quickly and that it\u2019s a high-quality suggestion to show to other people.<\/p>\n<p>SEO is the process of optimising your content for the robots, so the search engines can help more people to find it.
